Introduction
PRINCE (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a project management methodology designed to ensure that a system development project meet its objectives, within constraints and delivers stated benefits. The seminar is an overview of the entire method. It acquaints delegates with the principles of good project management practices. It examines the components of PRINCE; including, planning, monitoring and control. Participant roles and responsibilities are considered.
This course consists of formal lectures, and discussions. Participants require previous knowledge of IT system development. An appreciation of business practices may be an advantage.
